Courses

Training Classes are held on the grounds of Snowlandia Boarding Kennels and Cattery in Naburn, providing a one stop location for all your canine needs, training, kennels, grooming, hydrotherapy and even food are all services available here.

The classes are held out on the front lawn, which is mowed to perfection weekly, where there aren’t any other dogs or people, and there are miles of the countryside around us for nice scenic pack walks. There is a spacious car park right next to the training area. There is access to enclosed paddocks should a dog not be ready to be off lead, or the owner wants some piece of mind. For the puppies, we can use the groom room for the first few classes so an indoor option is available.

Private Behaviour Consult – From £100

Dogs can suffer from a wide range of behavioural issues such a noise phobias, separation anxiety, fear of other dogs, nervousness around strangers to name a few. During a behaviour consultation, I would look at what the dog is doing and how we can change that behaviour into a more desirable behaviour. This involves taking a full background history, looking at day to day home life, when the problem presents itself, what has already been tried and then work through some methods and put plans in place to change the behaviour.
