I achieved the Level 4 Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma from the British College of Canine Studies in May 2017. I have taught the Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme for 10 years, helping over 4500 dog owners pass their Bronze Good Citizen Award. Since I can remember I have always had a love of dogs, unable to have a dog as a child growing up, the first thing I did when I moved out was buy my first dog, a Rottweiler puppy named Roxy. Sadly Roxy only lived until she was 6 but was the foundation for my interest in competitive obedience and taught me so much. Since Roxy, I have owned 3 other Rottweilers and a Labrador, bred a litter, competed in hundreds of obedience shows, earning a place at Crufts 2017. I have competed in Championship Breed shows with the dog I bred, have had at Rally-O and done some Agility. More recently I have become involved in training working Gundogs (Labradors), I have been on shoots picking up and am currently learning to shoot myself so that I can shoot and work my own dog during the 2019 season.
I have a current Emergency First Aid at Work certificate (April 2019) and also a Canine First Aid Certificate (June 2019).
